Our Bow Wow Bonz story... I was involved in a very bad snow skiing accident, February 7th, of 2000, in which I broke my lower leg in four places. Following six hours of surgery, and a five day stay in the hospital, I was told I would not begin to walk for about nine months. I started walking in three months, and was able to hobble up and down the basement steps in six months.

One day while sitting in the kitchen, I watched my two Von Oldenberg Dobermans, gobble up their dinner, then go into their choking ritual. Something was not right. I immediately contacted a well renowned Doberman breeder by the name of Sylvia Wiedau, of New Egypt, New Jersey. I had originally purchased my red female Doberman from her, four years ago. Three years ago I used one of her champion sired males to breed with that red female. This led to a beautiful eleven-pup litter. I kept one of the fawn colored males as a companion for his mother. I explained to her that the dogs were choking after every meal. She asked me if I was feeding them up off the ground. I was not. Well, she said, "that's why. You need an elevated pet feeder". Off I went looking for elevated pet feeders. The selection was slim, not attractive, and very expensive.

Having a woodworking shop in my basement, I was determined to make an elevated feeder out of wood that was sturdy, cute, and inexpensive. After several redesigns, I came up with a very attractive, practical, inexpensive elevated pet feeder. After putting it to the test with my Dobermans, the feeder was a success. No more choking!

Since I train dogs, prior to each class, I would inform the pet owners of my findings with the benefits of the elevated pet feeders. They in turn, liked my design, and started purchasing the elevated feeders. Within a couple of months, I had received hundreds of orders for various feeders. Not only for the elevated dog feeders, but for elevated cat feeders also. Friends of mine suggested a web site, and here I am - and here are the feeders.

Thank you for purchasing our products, and may God bless you, your family, and your pets.
